I can't remember the last time I've been sober for this long (I'm not exactly sure what my badge says, but my last drink was Sunday morning at around 11am after drinking for roughly 17 hours). I'm gaining much more from the book this time and I've only had a couple slight cravings since I started reading. Needless to say it took me a while to finish the book, and the 'last drink' was a failure for me.

The alarm silenced once I stopped reading and started drinking my second beer. I have read this book once before several years ago, but I would usually start reading while having a beer. I quit drinking the day before I started the book and have remained sober through my reading. I am almost finished with this book and was hoping someone would mention it here. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who followed that advice, or chose not too.
